Let God Love you. #SR
As the presence of the Lord was clear and 'enough' was made known. . . . . . we serve a God of 'more than enough' and so it is so. I have personally had an experience very similar - at a time in my life when nothing was all I had and all I could see and hope for was that God could change my circumstances. . . . who was I that He would bless? In my mind I wasn't so special, I was just doing what God told me to do the best way I could - even though the abuse was taking it's toll on my soul. I could not imagine God using people to do something so amazing for me. Why me? Why not someone else? Why not you? said God. He has been pouring into my life my entire life. Even when I didn't even understand how my behaviors hurt God, He continued to speak to my heart. He has fed me when I was hungry. Provided shelter in some of the most unlikely places. He has and continues to restore me in my brokenness. He adds the reverence to every challenge and blesses me in my sorrow. It's not about the money in this video that draws me in and its not even about the cameras watching. I know in my heart that it is about the prayer to God and His faithfulness to answer that draws me in. I am reminded of the silent prayers I've prayed where there was ONLY in Jesus name that I knew to pray. Because of the camera, we were all witness to this act of God. They happen everyday all over the world - often where there is no camera to capture the act. When a need matches the purity of our hearts, within the request and is according to His purpose/will, God answers prayer in His way and in His timing. If God will bless one, He will bless another. He may not do it the same way, but He will do it. He will do it in the way that will change your life forever. He will do whatever you need done in your heart to show you why you are the love of His life. Sometimes we give people credit and we thank people and place them higher than God - some people want to be up there but that's between them and God. Give God the glory! He makes it happen! He changes the hearts of man! It has nothing to do with religion and EVERYTHING to do with relationship. There are people who hate and people who envy and every other thing on the planet can happen as a result of this video. I'll tell you one thing - the church was designed to care for the needs of those in need of a Savior, a Deliverer, A Provider, A Protector, etc. God uses people, whether we like it or not! People have lost faith in the church because people have forgotten that they actually 'are' the church! Don't let people keep you from a Savior who died for you. Who do you think God uses to bless others? WELL PEOPLE OF COURSE! We are suppose to get along and love each other and consider one another and stop saying you don't care - cause only people who are hurting from all the crap they've been through in life say that. The truth is, caring is connecting to loving and loving is connected to Christ. Ok. . . Sorry about my 'note post' for those of you offended by my passion on this matter. Otherwise, for those who needed a little inspiration and a little hope - this one is for you. Right where you stand, God can provide. Right in the midst of your pain, God can heal you. Just as people are stacking the deck against you, God is redeeming your circumstances. Serve God with your whole heart, give Him your whole heart, He wants the pain you can't tell anyone about and the stuff that clogs your mind with grief. He wants your accountability for the jacked-upness in your own will. He wants you to open your mouth and tell Him that it hurts and He wants you to open your bible and read it even if you think it can't help you 'right now'. The bible heals the soul if we let it. It is like vitamins we take everyday, it gets into our pores and completes healing in us that we don't know we need until we need it. He wants you to trust Him a little at a time and let Him be the love of your life so you can fellowship and experience true life everyday. God is faithful. . . . this video in my opinion is just a sign of His faithfulness. It could have happened in the park or the Chucky Cheese, or maybe the gas station - this video shows it happening at a Nigerian Wedding.
