Psalm 139-13..."You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb...My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together...your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." I am patterned after an original, .'the image of God'...the adverse is designed to steal away the true understanding of purpose. To deny yourself acceptance of this truth is to deny the very image of God, in you. Don't short change your soul- celebration and kinship with our GLORIOUS GOD! I could sing of His love forever!
I saw a teenage girl discretely stuffing underwear in her purse today. It still had the tag on it. I thought to myself, maybe I should offer to buy them for her - then I noticed - she was traveling with a group, literally - a group of teenagers looking for a thrill. . . .decisions, decisions. Realizing that the life we live is the life we will have to give to God completely, over and over again, in order to remain sane. As we begin each day giving our life to God, slowly, the negativity tries to chip away at the life committed to Him. I watched a Mother and child cursing each other out and for a moment, I didn't know who was the parent. A student smoking marijuana in the middle school bathroom. A parent who would do anything to help her child fail, by giving him drugs. . . instead encouraging their success, by taking them away. Realities of the tiny voices I am honored to hear each day - where to begin, how hard to pray, when to intervene, when to dry the eyes, and accept; its not your job to save them. To love them, teach them, and just do what God says do - that is our job. When it's all said and done, we are left with the decisions we make, every single one of them. I would rather be broke and serve the Lord in my purpose than be wealthy and serve man in a lie. Just sayin. . . have a great night. Oh, btw, thanks for being you because no matter who you are, what you believe or where you come from; the fact that you are still breathing, makes your life on earth valuable to the one who created you. For those who made it to the other side of death, their purpose was fulfilled in this stage of the journey and hopefully one day, ours will be as well.
