CAI Business Group (Our Parent Company) is proud to present this Firefly Event. Firefly Poetry & Open Mic Night sponsored by Speak Resilience is designed to extend the celebration of literary arts for people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience the excitement, fulfillment, and indulgence of live arts. This event celebrates 'the unheard'. It is for the moments of peace our world soo desperately needs. It is for every type of person, with every type of artistic need for an outlet; our event is designed to take the pain and joys of life and release an artistic platform and outlet of safety. Join DJ Staxx B, 'The Spot' - Gilly's Sports Bar, and Toseima J (Also known as Speak Resilience) as we embark and explore the poetic art form and celebrate those who revolutionize it.

If you would like to bless the mic or be involved in marketing initiatives, Firefly Events has launched a TV Show designed around highlighting artists who have what it takes to go to the next level.
There is a specialty drink called 'The Firefly Shot' available for ONLY $5.00 at the 2ND WEDNESDAY Gilly's location however, there is no admission fee or fee to perform.
Show up early to get a good seat because the show is only 2 hours.
Bring your positive vibes because this is a 'safe space' for people to share their art and artists as you know are sensitive about our sugar, honey, ice, tea. We 'snap it out' to celebrate each other. We also focus on keeping the environment zenful, relaxing, and entertaining.
Be respectful. Be kind. Be yourself.
The attire is casual and 'date nightish'. Drink, Eat, Tip the AMAZING Gilly's & Brimstone waitstaff and be merry!
Showtime Etiquette - We ask that you keep your voices low as people perform in order to allow the respect and overall experience to transcend in the way it's intended.
