Interesting conversations about Judgment today. . . . . My thoughts: To judge is a waste of time. It's like telling God that He does not know what He is doing and you can do it better. I am reminded of a question (paraphrased) God once asked in scripture, 'Where were you when the light was called day and the dark was called night?' We obviously were not here.... I believe that we can be honest without condemning people with our words. A wise man once told me that 'if you love someone, you will tell them the truth and if you are not honest, you may as well tell them you don't love them'. If we are to 'love our neighbor as we love ourselves', we obviously have a spiritual responsibility to tell the truth. When we speak to people from God's whisper, truth is what comes out - when we speak from our opinions, judgment, among many other things come out. Judging is just like complaining - it reminds me of opinions of ungratefulness. You can't be grateful for the mercy in your own life to judge someone else. You can't be grateful for what you have if you complain about what you don't have. Be just as cheerful giving as you do needing. I could not have a dime to my name, having the hardest time of my life but 'though the enemy slay me, yea will I trust Him'! I will dance for Him. I will rejoice. I will nurture my relationship with Him. I will worship Him. I will get out of bed and put my clothes on because I am just grateful to have breath in my lungs, joints that work....... etc. The enemy knows that he can do whatever my Lord allows, but I LOVE JESUS!! I may not know where the food is coming from but I know a man from Galilee! There was a time when I didn't want to live because the words of people who judged and manipulated my every step were stuck to the inside of my soul tormenting me. We are not made to save the world but we don't have to tear it down. A man died on a cross to save the sins of man, His name is Jesus - He paid the ultimate price. It is not our job to revive the world. It is our job to call on the name of the Lord, study His word, seek His face and allow Him to revive the world. He will give you words of truth. He will tell you what to say and who to say it to. He will do things His way, in His timing and for His purpose. Let's just get out of God's way. He has the power. Live a little more life. Stay in your lane. Let God lead you. God's got me and He's certainly got you. Be well & encouraged.
